Calvin Klein Man Cologne by Calvin Klein, Calvin Klein Man is a men’s woody spicy fragrance from 2007. It has fresh spicy, aromatic, and woody main accords. Perfumer Ann Gottlieb of Firmenich designed this cologne, which starts with top notes of violet leaf, rosemary, bergamot, and mandarin orange. Middle notes of bay leaf, incense, nutmeg, and mint follow, with cypress, guaiac wood, sandalwood, musk, and amber base notes closing this masterpiece. With moderate sillage and longevity, this scent works well throughout the year, at any time of the day.
American designer Calvin Klein launched his fashion brand in 1968, first with coats and eventually introducing women’s dresses, sportswear, blazers, and lingerie. The brand gained momentum through the 1970s, with designer jeans making their mark in 1978 and growth continuing in the 1980s with underwear. The first fragrance was launched in 1978 and fragrances were initially produced by Unilever until 2005, when Coty purchased the fragrance licensing agreements.
